Here you can read how we handle personal data. This applies both to personal data for which we are responsible - such as subscriptions to our newsletter or professional events - and to data that we process on behalf of our customers
What personal data are we dealing with?
Relevant personal data for customer projects: if you as a customer send us information about, for example, participants in a media training or respondents to a survey, we are aware that this is personal data. In these cases, we become a data processor and we must therefore jointly ensure that we have a data processing agreement in place. We will store this type of information on a closed drive as soon as possible and delete any emails containing the information. Once the project is completed and we no longer have a reason to hold the personal data in question, we will delete it permanently.
Newsletter: When you sign up for our newsletter, you must provide information such as your name, title, organization and email address. Your information will only be stored by HubSpot, which is an online email marketing solution within the EU and Privacy Shield cooperation. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. If you do, your data will be permanently deleted. By signing up, you consent to RelationsPeople storing and processing your data in order to send you professional inspiration and information about professional events via our newsletters and via ads on the newsfeed of stories on social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram.
Professional events: if you register for one of our events, you will need to provide information such as your name, email, organisation, title and phone number. By providing these, you also agree to us using your data to send you materials related to the event you have registered for – as well as invitations to other relevant events. Your data will be kept centrally on a closed drive and will not be shared with others. You can ask to be removed from the invitation list at any time.
Job application: if you send us an unsolicited application and we find it interesting, we reserve the right to process and store your data and attached documents on a closed server for up to 6 months. If you send us an application in response to a job advertisement, we will delete your data as soon as the position is filled.
Cookies: our website uses “cookie” technology. Cookies are small text files that allow us to store information about users’ behaviour on our website. RelationsPeople.dk uses cookies for advertising and traffic measurement purposes in order to target relevant communications and improve the user experience of our website. Cookies do not collect information about who you are, but the function may recognise the device you are using and information about it. We do not disclose personal information to third parties.

How does RelationsPeople store your data?
All personally identifiable data stored by RelationsPeople is stored in a simple folder structure on our internal drive. As soon as the data is no longer relevant for a specific project or purpose, it is permanently deleted.
All employees delete mails containing personal data on an ongoing basis, so that the necessary data is only stored centrally in the relevant folder.
Our IT security
RelationsPeople’s server setup is hosted by Global Connect, a high-security hosting centre with 24/7 monitoring. The servers are physically located in Denmark. Global Connect also provides back-up of all servers on a daily basis.
All employees have a laptop that is encrypted. In addition, each computer is secured with up-to-date security software and requirements for complex passwords and two-factor authentication.
Employees are regularly informed about the importance of personal IT security.
Accessing and updating personal information
